Meldin® polyimide material solutions exhibit high dimensional stability at high temperatures and longer life at higher loads and speeds. With Omniseal Solutions™, total control on the process from the powder to the parts is guaranteed. This is one of our technology advantages since some of our materials are made in different ways. For example, Meldin® 7001 thermoset material is produced using three different manufacturing processes, providing an efficiency in production in terms of cost and performance for every precision application. When you need standard rods, sheets, tubes and rings, hot isostatic molding is the best method whereas direct forming is ideal for high volume, finished parts that do not need machining. Hot compression molding is used specifically for larger, machined components such as plates, tubes or rods.
Polymer solutions also include bearings, wear components, piston rings, vanes, thrust washers, seals, and custom shapes. These solutions are found in a multitude of industries such as aviation, industrial, semi-conductor, space, and life science.
