Over the past several years, the Omniseal Solutions’ Bristol, Rhode Island, facility experienced a significant growth - tripling both production and headcount due to the increasing demand for their precision sealing and wear and friction control solutions in the space and aviation industries, specifically Meldin® and HycompTM components.
How did our engineering and manufacturing company find a fast and reliable way to build a skilled workforce?
Through local connections such as Polaris MEP, the Rhode Island Manufacturing Extension Partnership, which facilitated a connection between Omniseal Solutions and the Jane Addams Resource Corporation(JARC). JARC Rhode Island, established in 2022, has a trustworthy reputation for successfully designing and delivering high-impact career path training for job seekers in manufacturing, CNC machining and welding. Aside from Rhode Island, JARC is also well established in Chicago and Baltimore, providing high quality, employer informed manufacturing skills training.
Omniseal Solutions' HR and operational teams worked closely with JARC staff to design the curriculum, including conducting preliminary worker assessments and employee surveys to tailor the training content.
